“My Love Was As Sharp As A Needle In Your Eye, You Must Be Such A Fool To Pass Me By” Fall Semester First Year
An adaptation of a collage created by myself, bringing together formal design elements such as minimum/maximum contrast, gray scale, and balance. The project had to involve a minimum of twelve different shades of gray and create a formal harmony. This project was visually sucessful but in regards to following the guidelines it was a bit too literal. I learned to focus more on the asthetic than the image.
“Bramble” Fall Semester First Year
This project was more textile design orriented in the aspect that it required us to create a small pattern swatch, reproduce it, and reinvent it three times. It more focused on abstraction and repetition but still keeping on topic with the original pattern. This was my most sucessful project. It was displayed in the Push Pin exhibit and archived.
