Wizardz Program - Social Media Internship
Begins in late august/ early September
Will provide college credit if applicable.
Must be available for 15 hours per week in Philadelphia office.
Wizardz within our wizardz program execute the vision set by the account team and ensure flawless execution for Media Wizardz Accounts. They work in teams and have core focuses including content management, social advertising, and community monitoring. MediaWizardz is seeking an energetic and motivated Social Media Intern to actively monitor and engage with online communities in coordination with our existing clients. Outstanding interns will have an opportunity for full time employment upon graduation. Every entry-level team member must first complete our wizard program.
Roles and Responsibilities: This list is not mutually exclusive but here is a better idea of what is expected of you.
Responsible for monitoring, managing and updating clients' pages.
Assist in the development of content, campaigns, and promotions for pages.
Responsible for developing monthly/bi-monthly analysis and reports for clients.
Research new platforms, existing networks, blogger outreach, and competitor analysis.
Reading relevant blogs on a daily basis
Maintaining active profiles on a variety of social media platforms.
Skills/Qualities: In order to be successful in this position, you need to possess certain skills/qualities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Strong time-management and organization skills
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
An enthusiastic and outgoing personality
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to problem solve
Experience using Google Docs, Hootsuite, Facebook ad platform, and Facebook insights are preferred.
- Must be enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited College/or University
- Must have access to laptop computer and internet
