Co- curricular and Extracurricular Activities:
Sigma Beta Rho Fraternity, Philanthropy Chair (2011), Rush Chair (2012):
â€¢ Networks with and impacts both Greek life and multicultural communities through volunteer opportunities and leadership positions, quickly emerging as the premiere multicultural fraternity since its establishment within the University three years ago.
â€¢ Also in charge of coordinating and bringing awareness with our national philanthropy, SOS Childrenâ€™s Villages, to the University through fundraising through donations, sponsorships, documentary showings, and our annual basketball tournament.
â€¢ In contact with our nationwide network, building relations mainly within our chapters in the Greater Philadelphia area (Temple University, University of Sciences in Philadelphia, Drexel University, University of Pennsylvania). Also came in contact with brothers from the University of Maryland, Northeastern University, University of Cincinnati, and the University of Florida.
â€¢ In charge of attending and participating in weekly chapter meetings, Inter-Fraternity Council meetings, and Multicultural Greek council meetings.
University of Pittsburgh Filipino Students Association, Vice President (2011), Officer of External Affairs (2012):
â€¢ Responsible for facilitating most meetings and overseeing those in charge of organization funds and public relations. Duties include promoting Filipino culture within the University through cultural shows, social events, and networking with several other organizations within the Asian community.
â€¢ As Vice President, implemented new public relations and event strategies within the organization, increasing active membership, quickly becoming an active cultural organization among the Asian Student Alliance umbrella organizations.
â€¢ Acts as a liaison for allocations for the Universityâ€™s Student Government Board (SGB).
â€¢ As Officer of External Affairs, in charge of networking with intercollegiate and professional Filipino organizations. Has connections with Penn State, Drexel University, and several professional organizations in the New York Area.

â€¢ Advertises for events and promotes the organization via Facebook, Twitter, email, and in person to both student and professional organizations.
