Responsibilities included locating potential sponsors, recruiting event facilities and vendors, scheduling and booking entertainment, marketing/advertising, etc.o Established All Rhodes Lead to MIFA - philanthropy event created with the Greek Life organizations of Rhodes College student body and class council to recruit volunteers for a "competitive" Meals-on-Wheels challenge. · Adopt-A-Friend Volunteer Program (2006-2007) – Snowden Elementary School, Memphis, TNo Tutored and mentored underprivileged, inner-city students.· General Surgery and E.R. Intern (2006) – Springhill Memorial Hospital, Mobile, AL o Assisted surgeons and orthopedic units in operating rooms/ E.R. and prepared patients for surgery. ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:· Language Proficiency – can speak/write fluent German and some French· Recreational Journalism – have written articles published in West Tennessee Outdoors Magazine, Michigan Hooks and Bullets Magazine, and Alabama Wildlife Magazine.· Avid Outdoorsman – hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, swimming, boating, etc.· Lifeguard – CPR certified and Red Cross trained; have lifeguarded part-time for YMCA, Camp Beckwith in Mobile, AL, and on Gulf Shores Beach, AL.
