ARTS & MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE_____________________

ZBrush Sculptor, Ringling College of Art & Design, Sarasota FL January 2010 – Present
Working with teachers and peers creating a working understanding of the program, creating several different models
some with environments some without, all in ZBrush. Learned how to create 3D models to export and be finished in
other programs. I have a good understanding of the program and its limits and can achieve any where from cartoon to
real effects.

Illustrator, Dover-Foxcroft Historical Society, Dover-Foxcroft, ME Summer 2008
Rebuilt and ran a historic blacksmithing shed. While working, produced several illustrations on how the blacksmith
carried out his day-to-day work and showed in detail how the tools were used in their specific jobs, which are now
framed and displayed in the shed. Worked with the department heads on the budget for the fiscal year, including setting
up fundraisers with theaters and fairs in the area.

Storyboarding & Concept artist, Ringling College of Art & Design, Sarasota, FL 2006 - 2009
Created and designed several characters, environment and story layouts working towards the Visual development minor.
Produced 4 stories all laid out in sequential images, along with several smaller skits, and created more than 100 workable
character designs in the run of that course. Actively worked & participated with several other students & supervisors, in
leaning film language, Juxtapositions of images, the rules of film making and the art of good character design.

Traditional Blacksmithing Advisor, Martin Haas, Kreissle Forge, Sarasota, FL September 2007-08
Worked closely with the staff on making custom iron gates, fences, lamps, etc. trained the working staff in safety & the
ways of traditional blacksmithing. Directed short seminars on old technology and the ways of creative problem solving
with limited equipment. Cataloged and designed new scrollwork patters for future use.

Set Designer, Lakewood Diner Theater, Dexter, ME Summers 2007 - 2008
Designed built & painted sets for over summer season of shows, worked closely with a tight-knit group of professionally
trained lighting directors in creating the right emotional feel for the sets. Was the Fly bar director in charge of rising and
lowering pieces of scenery from the ceiling, with up to three people working under my supervision. I was in charge of
the safety of the cast and crew while moving sets in and out in quick repetition during the performances.

Born in Germany into a U.S. military family, I have lived in several places and enjoy travel; I have traveled all over
Europe as well as parts of America. Hobbies consist of biking, puzzles, fixing music boxes, collecting old books,
storytelling, games & game development. Avid interests in cooking, theater, music and film.
