I just finished up my first of two years of graduate school for Speech therapy. I have extensive experience working with children of all ages and abilities and am currently available to babysit in the Bangor area part time. I believe in encouraging children to be creative and to appreciate individual differences. Examples of populations I have worked with other than children who are "typically developing" include oppositional defiant disorder, cerebral palsy, general MR, Autism spectrum disorders (Rett's syndrome, Asperger's disorder, Autism), Wolf-Hirschorn syndrome, and Down syndrome (babysitting, in home support staff through the state of Maine, volunteer work, and clinical experience).
Babysitting references available upon request. CPR & First Aid certified, reliable car & clean driving record. I charge $10/hr generally. If I do not need to travel far and your family has certain needs, I am willing to negotiate the cost.

June: Monday-Thursday all day; some Friday time (willing to work part or full time)
July-August: Monday & Wednesday all day; some Fridays
