 Answered all emergency and non-emergency calls, routing calls to various agencies - police, fire or emergency medical services.
 Received complaints from local residents in the city communication center, dispatcher and working closely with the police officer to assure the safety of the officers and public.
 Processed call via the computer aided dispatch system, exercised judgment in dispatching units and prioritizing calls, and provided information to police and fire personnel.
 Broadcasted information over the police radio and entered the units selected into the computer; transmitted teletype message to each units to respond, maintained direct contact with responding field personnel and updated responding units status.
 Entered, updated and retrieved information from variety of computer systems, for request of information regarding vehicles registration, driving records, and warrants and provided pertinent data.
 Worked closely with the public, assuring them that all matters will be handled by our field personnel and also office personnel.
