Answered all emergency and non-emergency calls, routing calls to various agencies - police, fire or emergency medical services.
Received complaints from local residents in the city communication center, dispatcher and working closely with the police officer to assure the safety of the officers and public.
Processed call via the computer aided dispatch system, exercised judgment in dispatching units and prioritizing calls, and provided information to police and fire personnel.
Broadcasted information over the police radio and entered the units selected into the computer; transmitted teletype message to each units to respond, maintained direct contact with responding field personnel and updated responding units status.
