Kids Club Attendant
Las Vegas NV
Attn: Kids Club Attendant
I have been working with children K-6 for 4 years as an Activity Leader at an extended day program called “Prime Time” in San Diego, California. As part of my job, I am responsible for the care and supervision of all the children that are in the program on site. I lead children in many fun and safe activities and engage them in interacting with one another as a group. During Academic hours, I assist the children on their homework and provide academic activities for those who complete their homework. As part of my job, it is also my duty to keep our program area clean and organized at all times to look presentable for school teachers and parents. In order to gain a good relationship with the child to help improve their outlook and behavior in the program, I communicate with parents to gain the knowledge in leading their child in the right direction as a team.
Throughout my career working with children, I have attended various trainings relevant to working with children; such as their behavior, development, social environment, age appropriate games and activities, homework help, anti-bullying, arts and crafts, and camp songs. I have experience in assisting and managing children in various situations. Alongside the experience I have working with children; my best strengths working with children are taking initiative, using good judgment, leadership, and team work. I enjoy working with children and always maintain a safe environment for them. I bring in new ideas to help improve areas when needed and keep children engaged in the fun activities offered.
At this point in time, I am actively searching for a position in Las Vegas because I will soon be moving out of San Diego and into Las Vegas to exhibit my best skills, talents, and child care experience to your company. I am determined and stay committed in all the work I get. My resume, along with a letter of recommendation is attached for your review and I look forward to a personal interview.
Sincerely,
Mary Ann Tabali

INTERESTS AND
SKILLS Computer
Going on the computer is one of my strongest interests and hobbies. I’m usually on the computer 12 hours continuously typing and surfing the web. I am capable of typing 64WPM. I have taken Computer Literacy in Middle school and High school and CADD/ CAM (computer-aided design) course in Southwestern College.
Sports and Physical Activities
I enjoy sports and physical activities. When I’m at work I like to interact with the kids in many of the games to help encourage participation and collaborate as a team. It is a good way in getting involved with communicating skills as well as team effort. It also helps practice awareness and self-worth.
Art
It’s one of my strongest interests and skills put together. I’ve taken art classes a couple of times and enjoyed it. All the new things I can learn and create or put together in one drawing. At my worksite I am in charge of the “Painting Club”. I demonstrate many different skills the children can use for painting, such as using different types of objects to paint with or different strokes to use while painting. What I like about art and painting, nothing’s ever a mistake whether you mess up or not, everything is art.
