Education: Completed 35 credit hours towards an Associates of Art degree in Elementary Education including: Edu 201 Introduction to Elementary Education, Edu 220 Principles of Educational Psychology, and Edu 280 Valuing Cultural Diversity

Experience: Completed teaching the Junior Achievement program to grades kindergarten through 5th grade at the following schools: Woolley Elementary School, Tartan Elementary School, Lummis Elementary School, Jay Jeffers Elementary School, and Lois Craig Elementary School

Participated in Nevada Reading Week every year since 2007 at numerous schools throughout the valley, including: Indian Springs Elementary School, Gordon McCaw Elementary School, John A. Dooley Elementary School, and Tomiyasu Elementary School

Volunteered over 100 hours with Mrs. JoAnn Overstreet at Kermit R. Booker Elementary School working with her second grade students

Volunteered at Child Development Center II after dropping off my daughter, spending time reading to the children, teaching them sign language, etc
