Someone (a mother) one told me that having a child is like having your heart walking around outside of your body. I am not a mother yet so I don't completly know this feeling, but I do know how incredibly important it is for a mother and father to trust the person watching their children.
I am 27 yrs old and have lots of exp with children. I have worked with kids of all ages, but would ideally like to find a family with children 4 and under. children who are not in school yet and need the nuturing care of a great nanny. I think having the chance to help mold a child into a little person and being apart of a great family is really important.
I started babysitting at age 14 and was nanny several times when I got older. I am a college graduate from the u of mn worked pt nannying while working ft in marketing after college. Only to figure out that I wanted to nanny ft and be with children which is what I love. Children seem to open up to me and enjoy being around me, I beleive its what I am suppose to be doing.
I currently nanny pt for two different families. One family has 3 children ages 7-10 and the other twin girls age 2 yrs. I love them all, but I need something more regular and a family with young kids that I can grow with.
I am looking for something with regular hours - around 40 per week M-F. I am willing to travel with families if needed, do doctor apts, errands, and lite house work as well. I have lots of exp with all of these things and GREAT references for you as well.
My rates are negotiable.
