Services:
Product Sales and Installation- First I would come to your house and take measurements of your floor. Then we would meet at the showroom where I purchase my flooring products to pick out a product that works best for your application. After we have found a product that meets both your budget and decor we would place the order and begin the installation. Pricing this service depends mostly on the quality of the material selected. For some ballpark figures: Engineered Wood ranges from $6 to $10 and Laminate ranges from $4 to $8 per square foot installed.

Installation Labor Only- This would be where you purchase the the product yourself and we would come and install it. If you needed I would come over and measure the area and give you a detailed list of what you need. I would also give you advice on what to look for and what to avoid in a product, depending on your specific needs. The price range for this usually falls in the $1.75-$3 per square foot, which is very reasonable if you do some research.

Repairs- This would be fixing pretty much any problem you have with your existing floor. For example: "hollow spots", squeaks, cracks, scratches, water damage, board replacement, Loose transitions, we have fixed it all. Giving a average price for this can be difficult because nothing can be certain until the
job is started. For most small repairs (chips, scratches) the minimum starts around $150. For larger repairs (water damage, board replacements) the minimum starts around $350, for these repairs I usually give a best case worst case range and work out a final price as the job progresses. As far as pricing goes on repairs I try to give the customer the best price that I can still make a decent amount of profit at because I know that repairs are a great foot in the door for referrals.

My name is Michael Craven. I am 23 years old. I am a student at the University of South Florida studying Mechanical Engineering. I have been installing floors for almost 3 years now and have owned my own sub-contracting company for 2 years. Before I got into flooring I worked for a custom home builder for 5 years doing pretty much any and everything in residential construction.
