Hi families, I am looking for a family in need of a fun loving nanny. I will be able to start on Monday, October 13th. I am available Monday through Friday at all hours. The perfect job would have flexible Fridays, but I am open to positions that are strictly full time, hopefully 35 to 55hours. I am available for overnighters, week and weekend nights with some advanced notice. I have 6 years of experience in babysitting and 2.5 years experience nannying. I am experienced with children of all ages ranging from newborn to early school age and also have infant/toddler twin experience. I love to be on the move and would enjoy taking your children to the zoo, park, museum, sporting events, open gym/little gym, walks, etc. I am always searching for new ideas for nutritional (tasty) snacks and meals, and I also have some experience in making homemade baby food. I enjoy coming up with fun crafts for all ages. We can read books, play games, color, sing, dance, make silly faces, and have structured as well as unstructured play times. I can put together weekly educational themes and engage children in fun activities to represent these themes. I can also help provide socialization by arranging play dates. A previous family I worked for had three children under the age of three, so I am very comfortable and able to look after multiple children at one time. I am not strict, but I do set reasonable boundaries and am able to be consistent with discipline. Overall I just love kids, spending time with them and watching the look on their faces as they discover new things about themselves and their environment. I am willing and able to help with all children-related (or other) household chores, laundry, dishes, meals and also run errands, and take children to classes, activities and appointments. I might also be interested in trying my (organized) hand at a household managing/scheduling type of position. I am willing to commute up to 25 miles for the right family. I live near the University of Minnesota. Please email me to talk a little more and go over details and eventually set up an interview, at that time my references will be available. I look forward to hearing from you!
