Ok let’s face it.. There are THOUSANDS of DJ’s in Chicago, Literally. And you can never be certain on which one is right for your event. I am known as Akib. Or “DJ Akib” I am not someone who buys a set of turntables and calls myself s DJ. Most of what is spun for a night is a production, or mix of mine. I take pride in my work, and it has paid off. -I have done 2 red carpet events in Hollywood, CA. Both were private parties that had over 2000 people there. -I have flown/drove out to 32 states to do various events around the country. -I am currently a college student, and go to NIU where I am currently the resident DJ of the largest 2 bars/clubs in DeKalb, IL -I spin all types of music, techno, trance, house, rock, rap, hip-hop, and pop music. My specialty is Hip-Hop/Rock/Techno mixes. - I have spun at hundreds of corporate events, weddings, house parties, frats, sweet 16’s, family gatherings, clubs, bars, raves, basically anything you can imagine. -I have had mixes on the radio at Dance FM in Phoenix, AZ and 22 of my mixes have been either on TV or on the radio in various countries.
