Dear employer, I am a 27 year old active male who is interested in a wide range of outdoor activities. I am a graduate from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) with a B.A. in Child Development. I recently finished working my sixth summer at Tocaloma summer day camp as Director/counselor/driver, which is located in the Beverly Hills community (Mulholland@405). CSUN has offered me some great opportunities to work with wonderful, diverse children. At CSUN, I had an opportunity to work with a wide range of children, ranging from infants to kindergarten aged children. CSUN also allowed me to work in a couple different childcare settings, such as school settings (pre-school, kindergarten classrooms), childhood centers (infants—6year olds). Along with the experience I gained at CSUN, Tocaloma summer day camp has given me an even more fulfilling opportunity to work with an even wider range of children with children ranging from 4-14 years old. My first three summers at Tocaloma were spent as a camp counselor/lifeguard/driver and for the past 3 summers I have been a Program Director of our 8-11year olds program. Tocaloma has allowed me to experience children outside of a school setting and in a more free-flowing environment. I am also working part-time with many different families.
One family in which I am involved with off and on, I help their 4 year old son develop his social skills with other children through play and other various activities. I enjoy working with children in a one-on-one setting because it allows me to work more directly on areas which may need improvement. Currently I am working after school hours but I would like to find some fill in hours during the day. If you have any need babysitting, fill-in nanny, errands, coverage etc, feel free to contact me. I am available M W TH F from 7am-2:15pm and Tu 7am-1:15pm with a rate of $20/hour. Thank you again. smile Respectfully Yours, Brian Berumen 323-309-2441 brian.c.berumen@gmail.com 16301 Malden StreetNorth Hills CA 91343, USA
