Hi, I'm just starting out as a wedding planner. I'm seeking certification now but have planned two weddings, several mid-sized (50-100 guest) events, and am in the middle of planning my own wedding. I need more experience and locate reliable vendors in order to start up my business. I'm offering my services to any couple who is looking for a low cost wedding planner and does not mind having one who is still learning and may take a little longer locating vendors than those who are more experienced. Most wedding planners charge about 10% or more of the wedding cost and I'll do it for 5%. My fiance is a culinary school student who has catered several weddings and events. Depending on the date of your event we may be able to work out a package at a lesser rate than many caterers charge.
