Hey, my name is Mariel Challik. I'm a student at the University of Pittsburgh looking for a part-time babysitting gig on nights and/or weekends. I've been babysitting since I was 13 years-old, I'm 22 now, so I have some good experience with kids. I really like drawing/ coloring and playing with kids when they use their imagination. I'm not big on just watching TV the whole time I'm over. I also like reading with kids, and maybe baking cookies or something like that if they wish to, and their parents will allow it. I also have an eight year old sister, 9 in August, who is the light of my life, so I can get along with and understand that age group really well, and I enjoy myself, too! I'm currently working at a neurobiology lab part time through UPMC and I need to supplement this income with some extra cash so I can make rent. I don't drink or do any drugs, so I'd much rather be babysitting than waitressing or bartending. I live in South Oakland on the right side of the Blvd of the Allies if you're coming from downtown (not the party side, the quiet side), and I can take a bus anywhere in Pittsburgh, or if you prefer I drive, I can work something out with my mom to borrow her car. That shouldn't be much of a problem because she lives in the South Hills. Or I can occasionally borrow a roommates car. I'm a fun loving girl who loves to use her imagination with kids, so if you are looking for a part time evening/weekend babysitter, I'm your girl!
