Hi there, my name is Desiree. I am a twenty three-year-old college student at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (online division). My online classes allow me to be very flexible and I am willing to work during any weekday, as well as the evenings and weekends. I am currently certified in Standard First Aid by the Red Cross. I’m willing to renew my certification in Infant & Child CPR by Red Cross upon request.
My previous job was with a wonderful family of five. Since they no longer need me full-time I am now looking for a part- time (between 25- 30 hours) live-out position with a new family.
I’m very close to my family. I am the oldest of six half siblings, ages from 6 to 17 yrs old. I have more than 6 years of child care experience, looking after infants (as young as two months old) to kids in middle school. I have always loved working with children, taking my responsibilities very seriously. I love doing activities with the children, which include doing art projects, playing outside, going for walks, reading books, playing with toys, helping with homework, and cooking.
