• I would run around the restaurant and clean up the various messes, bake the bread and butter it, take the dishes off of the tables, bring drinks to customers, help hostesses and hosts in the placement of the new customers, help out the dishwashers by washing hot pots and pans and loading and unloading the racks of dishes, rolling silverware, making sure there were clean linen napkins and aprons for the staff and customers, keep the floors cleaned, make sure the bar was cleaned, bring out the soups in the mornings, bring out the bread i had baked into the sitting area, wipe down tables and reset them so they looked inviting.

• Three to four days out of the week I would come in and start up the afternoon shift by filling up the various fruits that were in cluded in the smoothies, make sure all the prep work in the back was done and nothing needed to be done. After this was done i cleaned up the entire store, counted how much money was in the register, put most of the money in the safe, and made contact with the store owner. After all this was done before 4:30 (I would come in at 4 pm), I would help out making smoothies and making sure the fruits and other items were filled and prepping other fruits and items in order to make the smoothies. At closing time, I would sweep the floors and mop them, count the money again and put away a "til", clean the bar areas where the fruits were stored, put cellophane over the left over fruits, and set the alarm and lock the door.

Typed to deaf customer what hearing person said in phone verbatim, and relayed trough voice to hearing customer what deaf person had to say. Carried out entire conversations like this for 8 hours a day. typing requirement was 60 w/pm. took in internet calls from deaf people and handled them in same fashion.

Cleaned entire restaurant at closing (the grill, emptied trash, counted money in register, wiped down all surfaces, removed nozzles on a soda fountain to clean, cleaned ice machine, cleaned grease trap, trays, condiment bottles, reflled napkin holders, sweep and mop floor, restock everything in store using rotation method). Helped owner order new supplies (meats, chesses, produce) from contractors. Operated register. Cooked on "piano" style grill. Took customer "walk-in" orders. Entertained customers. Helped manage resources for owner. helped in payroll. Ran entire store on Saturdays. Was also somewhat of a disciplinarian towards workers. Basically i did everything in the store that the owner did when he was not there, and sometimes even when he was there.
