I have a resume available, but would like to describe my educational experience and plans, as well as my personality a bit. I am looking to gain some experience in a financial office/business with finance. derivitives, global finance, or just simple finance work! My future career goals involve foreign exchange/futures trading and business-related language translations.

On Friday, May 9, 2008, I graduated with a 3.93 GPA from St. Clair County Community College with Associate degrees in both business and arts. In September, I will be continuing my education towards a Bachelors, Masters, and Doctorate in New York City at either Columbia University or Fordham University. The majors/minors I am pursuing are finance, financial engineering/calculus, Chinese and Arabic Languages, and risk management. I am fairly comfortable with Chinese and Arabic already, as well as Aramaic (Chaldean) and some Farsi. I also regularly tutor English online to adults in China, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, and Jordan, which has given me cultural aspects and international contacts that are not readily available to most individuals.

I am currently 22 years old and live in Port Huron, MI but have no problem driving to work; I will I am looking for a position now until mid-August, days/times at your discretion. I am not particular in the position or pay, because I understand that experience is more important.

I am a quick learner, but more importantly, I am eager to learn just about anything and thoroughly grasp what it is that I am taught. I'm always happy, friendly, and willing to put in the extra hours to achieve goals. Punctuality and accuracy is extremely important in business and life, so I conscientiously make every effort to be on time and meet deadlines while still retaining the accuracy of work and projects. I take pride in the work I do, as well as the work of others, so I am not afraid to ask questions or perform tasks I may be unfamiliar with; I do my best to catch on quickly and use previous experience to get complete the task at hand.
