Graduate Research Assistant on the project conducting research on Dual-energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) image processing, in cooperation with Tyler Hospitals and Clinics, for detecting Mineral density and bone architecture properties. Developed statistical textural features based mathematical model to fetch information of human bone; Developed a processing library for the compression of 3D X-Ray image; Designed a new mechanism and algorithm in Matlab and C for measurement of bone quality in medical images; Conducted advanced statistical analysis on actual data to validate the model.
