VMS Communications is a boutique PR & Diversity Marketing company located in Houston, TX. We are currently looking for PR/Marketing Research Interns who have strong communication skills and are very comfortable with social media marketing.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced public relations world. Internship is non-paid (for college credit or someone who wants to build up a great portfolio).
Interns can work from anywhere in the U.S. from a virtual office with weekly conference calls and/or face-to-face meetings if reside in Houston, TX
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Compiling media and corporate client lists
Booking speaking engagements
Writing press releases and pitch letters
Heavy Market Research
Assist with planning events
Assist with maintaining company blog, newsletter
Handle email correspondence and social media marketing
