Assistant Director/Producer/Production Assistant Vernon, CT and Hamden, CT Fall 2006-Present
• Provided production assistant help to the Grip/Electric dept of the independent film “Rising Star”
• Organized, scheduled, and assisted with set operations as the 1st Assistant Director for the independent film “Lover’s Leap.”
• Produced, co-wrote, and edited a 20 minute documentary highlighting the New Haven Symphony Orchestra’s educational outreach Shifting Patterns Project to be shown online and at performances.
• Acted in and assisted in the production of the 20 minute fictional narrative comedy film “Chop Fuey”, submitted to local film festivals.
• Directed, edited, and produced a 15 minute documentary for Quinnipiac’s Student Programming Board to be shown for promotional purposes at orientations and national conferences.
• Produced, wrote, and assisted in the production of a 4-episode fictional sitcom in the Fall 2009.

• Learned the duties of and performed exercises typical of a feature film assistant director, culminating in performing assistant director duties for the 12-minute comedy/crime film “To Dye For.”
Internship
NBC Connecticut Sports Intern May 2009- August 2009
• Assisted with the production and preparation of nightly sports newscasts for NBC Connecticut by analyzing scripts, editing highlight packages, and producing a 90-second news story for showcase on the “Around Town” section of the station’s website.

• Provided assistance for and supervised the operation of distributing and returning video equipment for student academic projects, and supervising daily television studio maintenance operations.
