Extra:

Club Lacrosse Team
I am a member of the University of Denver's women's club lacrosse team. I played both field hockey and lacrosse in high school but enjoyed lacrosse more. During high school I was the captain of both my field hockey team and my lacrosse team. When I was the captain of my lacrosse team, the team went the farthest it has gone since it became a school sponsored sport in 2007.
Greek Life
I am a member of the Delta Gamma sorority house at the University of Denver. I am currently the house manager and the social etiquette director. Being the house manager, my job is to communicate effectively between the students, the house mom, and the cook. I was designated this job because of my excellent communication skills especially with adults. I am a leader within the house to my other sisters. I provide a good example and inform them of necessary tasks to do regarding the house. As social etiquette director I enrich my sisters on etiquette and plan events for them to learn good manners while having fun and bonding.
Volunteering is another significant part of my Greek Life participation. Delta Gamma is committed to stopping blindness before it starts and helping those who are blind. We have started many schools and organizations. I have volunteered at the school in Denver as well as helped raise money for our foundation.
Greek Athletic Board
I am the Delta Gamma representative for the Greek Athletic Board. For this position I help to plan the events thrown by the Greek community. For example I was responsible for getting the word out about the Greek Olympics and what would be occurring at the event. I designed posters and hung then around campus as well as passed them out at Greek houses.
