• Worked with Lee St. John, the videographer at the station

• Working at Catherine Rooney’s has been very fun and rewarding so far. It is a very popular and busy place on the weekends. I sometimes work very long shifts, so I always make sure to keep my energy up and my attitude positive while at work.

• There was a very intimate and friendly atmosphere at Blue Water. We had a lot of regular customers that I enjoyed getting to know while also doing my job successfully. This was my first time bartending so I had to learn how to make various drinks and be attentive and talkative with the customers at the bar. Sometimes I would have to be both a server and the bartender, so I had to learn to effectively multitask.

• At the largest library at the University of Pittsburgh, my responsibilities included organizing books, assisting patrons with finding books, working on the computer program Voyager as well as pittcat.pitt.edu, and checking books in and out through the library computer system. I also organized the office and schedule as stacks manager.

• Iron Hill was the first place I worked as a server and it ended up being a very challenging but rewarding place to learn. Working in a brewery, the servers must have an extensive knowledge of all the different beers and what sets them apart from each other, as well as know a lot about the food menu.
