H. M. King High School, Kingsville, Texas located in Kleberg County. This school contains approximately 1100 students. There are a few Special Education classrooms housed within the school which includes a MR unit and Communities in Schools department (primary for at risk students). The majority of Special Education students are mainstreamed in the regular classroom. The counselor indicates much of time is spent interpreting scores, testing, individual counseling, student teacher mediator, attendance, college prep, and college scholarship.

Coastal Bend Outpatient Services, Inc., Kingsville, Texas located in Kleberg County. This outpatient facility currently provides care to approximately 35 clients. The number of clients at this facility at a particular time is constantly changing due to client graduating or being revoked but their probation or parole officers. Duties at CBOS include conducting the initial assessment intakes, treatment plan reviews, and co-facilitating group sessions focusing on skills for building a chemical free life style.
