My name is Jessica, I'm 20 years old and I am a graduate of the Hallmark Institute of Photography. I currently live in Dallas, Texas, but I've been interested in moving to the Boulder/Lafayette area. I currently own my own photography business and I want to move my business to Colorado in the next 1-3 years (or sooner!!). Since I have quite a bit of student loans to pay off, I've been looking for a part- or full-time live-in nanny position so that I have a little bit of stability while I'm building my client base in Colorado.

I am a very dependable, trustworthy, patient, and caring person. I love spending time with children and have 7 years of experience caring for children ages 0-12. I help out off and on with my church's nursery, generally caring for kiddos under 3. In 2007, I was a nanny during the summer to 18-mo old triplets. Right now, I'm nannying for a family with children ages 4, 5, 6, & 12. They are the best! My job duties with them include making meals, supervising playtime/naptime, administering medication, going to the park when we can with the youngest, occasionally picking up the older ones from school, and helping with homework. I also organize the kids rooms on occasion (love organizing), am comfortable doing some cleaning, know how to cook, and I like doing laundry, oddly enough. They are like my second family and I adore each of their children. I would hope that the next family I am with would be the same.

I love being outdoors, camping, playing at the park, cooking/baking, reading, riding horses, playing board games, etc. Love dogs as well! I was homeschooled K-12 and attended photography school in MA, graduating in '10. I was raised in a Christian home, but am not one to push my beliefs on others. I am of the opinion that although I have experience, every family is different and there is no reason for me to do things "my way" in providing care for your children. It's the same way with every other job, you do things how your boss wishes for them to be done. I will have my own car when moving to the area. I would prefer the job to be in a 10-15min radius of the Lafayette/Boulder area, but would make exceptions for the right family.

I am looking for a family that I can be a part of. I'm comfortable with 1-4 children and ages 3-8 are my favorites! I'm looking for around 25-35 hours/week and I would LOVE a family with flexibility if I needed to meet with a client during the week or if I had a session scheduled...having weekends free (at least Saturdays) is also helpful for when I have weddings scheduled. Pay is also negotiable, depending on whether you are providing food/gas/etc. in addition to a place to stay, but I would prefer somewhere between $400-700/week. I'm really just looking for a warm, fun, caring, flexible family that I can grow with long-term. :)
