RELEVANT PROJECT
Nonprofit Organization Project with Charles River Museum September – January 2010
The goal of this project was to partner with local nonprofit organizations (NPOs) in a micro-philanthropy project, culminating in a
short-term on line fund raising campaign with long-term effects using Web 2.0 tools.
• Created a public relations packet with detailed information on social media
• Directly met and worked with our NPO to set a fundraising goal and plan out the steps to reach it
• Ultimately helped create a personal fund raising campaign for our NPO while using Web 2.0 tools such as
Twitter, Ning, Flickr, PayPal, Change.org, Amazon Associates, etc
