My name is Michael Seamans. I am the primary agent for MM Marketing, AKA; Seamans
Research Group. The intention of this letter is to contact residential solar-votaic companys
and others interested in exploring the potential of entering a 1099 contract to purchase sales
leads or pre-set appointments on a per capita basis.

MM Marketing is moving to the Portland area and would like the opportunity to provide
such services to a business marketing a home improvement product . I emphasize solar voltaic
as I anticipate a long and robust future however, all viable products will be considered.

I have extensive experience providing sales leads and managing canvassing crews. I have
canvassed promoting products ranging from solar water heating to roofing. I have founded and
successfully operated a canvassing company in the past. I now bring you my experience
and expertise for consideration. My assurance; you will not be disappointed. I have an exemplary
“at the door” presence and have always been told my leads were the best. I could train other
qualified people in my techniques and build a crew as I have done in the past. I lead by example
and often initiate competitions for monetary gains to anybody that can out produce me.


I witnessed the change over from old wall and floor heaters to “forced Air” in the millions of
homes built in southern California following WWII. It was dramatic. These old units
began to fail over a short period of time and demand for the new “state of the Art” systems
grew exponentially. Those prepared to market those systems saw wonderful return. My company
MJS Marketing was part of that “gold rush.” as we provided sales leads to one of the largest
forced air distributors in the southern California area. I see the coming solar revolution to be more
profound. MM Marketing would like to be part of the energy use changes that lie ahead.

in a corporation of over eighty branch offices.

Hired and trained canvassers to go “door to door” conducting energy use surveys

Founded and Operated MJS Marketing where I Hired and trained canvassers to
