Christ Lutheran Church of Austin is looking for an organist to play at its 8:15 am and 10:45 am Sunday services, Lent services (at noon and 7:00 pm on Wednesday about 6 weeks a year), and special/holiday worship services where the organ is used. The organist will also be the primary organist for funerals at the Church, but if unable to play, will assist in finding a substitute. The Church organ is a pipe organ. This position is a part-time salaried position, in the amount of $900 per month (paid monthly, with standard withholding as an employee). Must have experience with and be proficient in playing the pipe organ, have reliable transportation and be able to climb stairs to church balcony. Prior service as Church Organist preferred.
