Wine Sales Consultant
Global Wines – Atlanta and surrounding areas

Successful candidates will have demonstrated the ability to cold-call, assess, taste, follow-up, and respond to the needs of the customer. Other responsibilities include the ability to co-market wine events such as tastings, dinners and table pours all while building and maintaining strong account relationships and repeat business. The job does not only entail selling wine but also helping the customers sell the wine we've sold them.

As a member of our sales team, the candidate must be able to present our wines with a strong understanding of the wine and serve as a trusted adviser to our customers. We are seeking engaging people who are motivated to develop new relationships, expand their wine knowledge and grow with our company all while achieving high volume sales.

Requirements for success include beverage sales or industry experience:
• A proven track record in sales desired
• Established list of leads, prospects, and existing accounts helpful
• Uncompromising honesty and integrity
• Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills
• Intermediate-level wine knowledge
• Enjoy working on commission and incentive-based pay
• Reliable transportation, auto insurance and a valid driver’s license
• The ability to meet the physical demands of the position to include driving, walking, lifting, carrying, and standing for long periods of time
• All applicants must pass a complete background check

Global Wines is a boutique wine importer/distributor. Our portfolio features an array of wines from South America, Spain, France, Italy and the US. We are looking for both part-time and full-time enthusiastic, motivated and disciplined sales consultants who share a passion for wine.
